One late night , after Marilyn phoned de Dienes because she was restless, she proposed that he take some pictures of her, somewhere in a dark alley, in Beverly Hills. She would pose sad and lonely. De Dienes, lacking a flashlight, lit Marilyn with the headlights of his car.
